Voice, Experimental Magazine

The first Typography 2 project: an experimental magazine called Voice. The brief encouraged us to push past the usual editorial format, let the typographic system carry an idea rather than just decorate it.

The page documents both the final spreads and the sketches that led there. Looking back, the sketches are the more honest record of the project, the moment the typographic decisions were still loose and arguing with each other.
