The Cube Project

The brief asked for an object that could be contained inside a cube, applying the principles of design. Read narrowly, that’s a small object. Read at an angle, it’s an invitation.

The piece pushes the form past the corners of the cube on purpose, a literal way of taking the brief and stepping outside its boundary. The cube is the rule; the work is the response to the rule, not the rule itself.
