Different prompts, one rule: respond using negative space only. Whatever you wanted to communicate had to live in what wasn’t drawn, the shape pulled out of a field rather than placed onto one.
The exercise reframed every familiar move. The eye keeps wanting to add ink; the brief keeps refusing. What’s left is a study in confidence, trusting the empty area to carry the image.
